The Badui of Indonesia
The Badui of Indonesia, numbering about 27,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Indigenous Sundanese community of Banten that preserves a distinct Kanekes identity through customary law, relative isolation, and traditions that limit outside influence and modern technology.
They are an indigenous people in the Sunda-Betawi of Java people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Badui.
