The Muda of China
The Muda of China, numbering about 3,100 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an indigenous Hani subgroup of the Nanliangshan Mountains in southern Yunnan, distinguished by its Muda language and ancestral traditions shared with neighboring Akha communities.
They are an indigenous people in the Hani-Akha people cluster of the Himalayan Peoples. Their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion, and they primarily speak Hani.
