The Luzu of China
The Luzu of China, numbering about 1,600 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Qiangic-speaking Tibeto-Burman people of the Yalong River valley in Sichuan, officially classified as part of the Tibetan ethnic group despite splitting from the closely related Ersu and Duoxu some three to four centuries ago.
They are an indigenous people in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Tibetan Buddhism, and they primarily speak Ersu.
