The Xuzhang Lalu of China
The Xuzhang Lalu of China, numbering about 6,900 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Western Yi people of Baoshan in western Yunnan who likely descended from the influential Laluo of Menghua and developed a distinct language and identity after centuries of separation from related Yi groups.
They are an indigenous people in the Other Tibeto-Burmese people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion, and they primarily speak Xishanba Lalo.
