The Hkauri of China
The Hkauri of China, numbering about 40 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous Kachinic community of Yingjiang County in western Yunnan, officially included among the Jingpo but distinguished by its Hkauri identity and divergent speech.
They are an indigenous people in the Other Tibeto-Burmese people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Tibetan.
