The Doupo of China
The Doupo of China, numbering about 950 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an indigenous Yi subgroup in villages west of Kunming, descended from Depo migrants from southern Sichuan who formed a distinct Doupo identity after relocating to Yunnan in 1965.
They are an indigenous people in the Other Tibeto-Burmese people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion, and they primarily speak Sichuan Yi.
