The Za of China
The Za of China, numbering about 3,400 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an indigenous Tibetanized community of Zayu County in southeastern Tibet, descended in part from Geman Deng-related peoples and maintaining a distinct Za identity.
They are an indigenous people in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Tibetan Buddhism, and they primarily speak Amdo Tibetan.
