The Taoping Qiang of China
The Taoping Qiang of China, numbering about 10,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Southern Qiang people of Lixian County in western Sichuan whose identity is rooted in the historic Taoping settlements and traditions that developed between the cultural spheres of Tibet and China.
They are an indigenous people in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion, and they primarily speak Southern Qiang.
