The Tai Khang of Laos
The Tai Khang of Laos, numbering about 83,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Tai people of Laos's Houaphan, Xiangkhoang, and Borikhamxai provinces, descended from Tai migrants who moved south from Yunnan and Guangxi between the seventh and thirteenth centuries, traditionally animist but increasingly influenced by Buddhism.
They are an indigenous people in the Tai people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Kang.
