The Nguan of Laos
The Nguan of Laos, numbering about 45,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an indigenous Khmuic people of northern Laos whose stilt-house villages are arranged around a communal house and whose two clans are named for sacred birds.
They are an indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Khmu.
