The Eastern Bru of Laos
The Eastern Bru of Laos, numbering about 37,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an upland swidden-farming people of eastern Laos's Savannakhet and Khammouane provinces near the Vietnam border, speaking a conservative non-tonal Austroasiatic language related to the Bru of Vietnam and Thailand.
They are an indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Eastern Bru.
