The Coastal Kadazan of Malaysia
The Coastal Kadazan of Malaysia, numbering about 138,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Austronesian people of Sabah's Penampang and Papar districts in Malaysian Borneo, distinguished from interior Dusun communities by a separate Kadazan ethnonym recorded by contact in the late 1800s, formalized by Penampang's 1953 Kadazan Society.
They are an indigenous people in the Borneo-Kalimantan people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Papar.
