The Lower Murut of Malaysia, numbering about 3,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a language variety subgroup of the Timugon Murut, an Austronesian indigenous group inhabiting the interior regions of northern Borneo.
They are an indigenous people in the Borneo-Kalimantan people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Timugon Murut.
