The Tungara of Malaysia
The Tungara of Malaysia, numbering about 650 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Murut sub-ethnic group of Sabah, one of some twenty-nine such subgroups each with its own dialect and homeland within the broader hill-dwelling Murut classification of Borneo.
They are an indigenous people in the Borneo-Kalimantan people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Bookan.
