The Tidung of Malaysia
The Tidung of Malaysia, numbering about 25,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Austronesian coastal people native to Borneo's Tana Tidung and Sesayap River homeland, who spread into Sabah after Sulu Sultanate raids and British colonial rule while keeping a distinct Tidung-Malay identity apart from Sabah's Dayak communities.
They are an indigenous people in the Banjar of Kalimantan people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Northern Tidung.
