The Mendriq of Malaysia
The Mendriq of Malaysia, numbering about 375 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Semang Negrito people, among the oldest inhabitants of Peninsular Malaysia, traditionally nomadic foragers who followed seasonal fruit harvests before resettlement moved most into permanent Orang Asli settlements in Kelantan's Gua Musang district.
They are an indigenous people in the West Malaysia Indigenous people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Minriq.
