The Chinese-Tahitian Creoles of French Polynesia
The Chinese-Tahitian Creoles of French Polynesia, numbering about 300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a mixed Chinese-Polynesian people of French Polynesia descended from Chinese migrants and indigenous Tahitians. Known as Tinito, they combine Chinese heritage, Tahitian culture, and French Polynesian traditions within a distinct creole identity.
They are an indigenous people in the Other Pacific Islanders people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion, and they primarily speak French.
