The Kwaraae of the Solomon Islands
The Kwaraae of the Solomon Islands, numbering about 64,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are the largest language group of Malaita Island in the Solomon Islands, who trace their founding ancestor's arrival some twenty generations ago and, from the 1870s, worked as overseas plantation laborers in Fiji and Queensland.
They are an indigenous people in the Solomons people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Kwara'ae.
