The Temoq of Malaysia
The Temoq of Malaysia, numbering about 850 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Semelaic Orang Asli people of Pahang settled between Tasik Bera and Tasik Chini, whose distinct identity was overlooked by colonial administrators who once lumped them together with the neighboring Jakun.
They are an indigenous people in the West Malaysia Indigenous people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Malay (individual language).
