The Rejang Kayan of Malaysia
The Rejang Kayan of Malaysia, numbering about 7,400 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Kayan Dayak subgroup of the upper Rejang River in Sarawak, Borneo, descended from migrants out of the Apo Kayan highlands of Kalimantan, traditionally longhouse-dwelling and once known for headhunting.
They are an indigenous people in the Malay people cluster of the Malay Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Rejang Kayan.
