The Ocaina of Peru
The Ocaina of Peru, numbering about 100 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Witotoan people of the Putumayo and Caqueta river basins in Peru and Colombia, historically a hinterland people living apart from major waterways, nearly wiped out alongside the Huitoto and Bora during the Putumayo rubber boom genocide.
They are an indigenous people in the Amazon people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Ocaina.
