The Tsachila of Ecuador

The Tsachila of Ecuador, numbering about 3,300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Indigenous nation of Ecuador's western lowlands known as Colorados for dyeing hair and skin red with achiote, formed when revolt survivors against Jesuit missions fled into the jungle and merged with the Yumbo, still led by a shaman called a pone.

They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Colorado.
