The Kauescar of Chile
The Kauescar of Chile, numbering about 3,400 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a once-nomadic canoe people who for over 6,000 years traveled Patagonia's fjords hunting and fishing from bark canoes before 20th-century forced resettlement into towns nearly extinguished their language isolate, now spoken by only a handful of elders.
They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Spanish.
