The Tsimane of Bolivia

The Tsimane of Bolivia, numbering about 9,300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Amazonian forager-horticulturalist people of Bolivia's Beni department who resisted Jesuit mission settlement despite seventeenth-century contact, later drawn into wage labor during the rubber and quinine booms of the late nineteenth century.

They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Tsimané.
