The Chacobo of Bolivia
The Chacobo of Bolivia, numbering about 1,200 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a southern Pano people of Bolivia's northern Amazon forced from land near Lake Rogaguado during the early-1900s rubber boom, suffering disease from rubber tappers before first contact in 1953, then granted in 1965 under a tenth of their ancestral land.
They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Chácobo.
