The Pilaga of Argentina
The Pilaga of Argentina, numbering about 4,800 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Guaycuru people of Argentina's Formosa province in the Gran Chaco, pushed into the Pilcomayo-Paraguay river marshlands by Spanish military pressure in the late 1700s after resisting conquest for centuries.
They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Pilagá.
