The Emok of Paraguay
The Emok of Paraguay, numbering about 1,300 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a semi-nomadic people of Paraguay's Gran Chaco who speak a Mascoian language related to Enxet and historically moved seasonally to hunt, fish, and gather, their population nearly halved by a 1932 smallpox epidemic amid the region's Chaco War-era upheaval.
They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Spanish.
