The Angaite of Paraguay
The Angaite of Paraguay, numbering about 6,300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Maskoy people of Paraguay's Gran Chaco whose arid, flood-prone environment sustained a migratory wild-plant-gathering lifestyle, decimated during the 1932-35 Chaco War and rapidly acculturated after the Trans-Chaco Highway brought settlers.
They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Angaité.
