The Aikana of Brazil
The Aikana of Brazil, numbering about 300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a people of Rondonia's Guapore River region who speak a language isolate unrelated to any other known tongue, first documented in 1914 by Swedish ethnographer Erland Nordenskiold, relocated in 1970 to the poor-soiled Tubarao-Latunde Indigenous Territory.
They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Aikanã.
