The Ticuna of Brazil
The Ticuna of Brazil, numbering about 50,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are the most populous Indigenous people of Brazilian Amazonia, present for at least 2,000 years before European arrival, expanding after neighboring Omagua and Mayoruna populations were decimated by wars and epidemics, then relocated during the rubber boom.
They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Ticuna.
