The Suruwaha of Brazil
The Suruwaha of Brazil, numbering about 150 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an Indigenous Arawá people of the Purus basin in southern Amazonas who emerged from the consolidation of several related groups after the rubber era and maintained prolonged isolation in the remote Cuniuá region.
They are an indigenous people in the Amazon people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Suruahá.
