The Paranawat of Brazil
The Paranawat of Brazil, numbering about 100 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an Indigenous Kawahib people of Rondônia descended from the wider Kawahib populations of the Madeira and Tapajós basins, whose surviving communities retain a distinct Paranawát identity despite language loss and dispersal.
They are an indigenous people in the Amazon people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Portuguese.
