The Apalai of Brazil
The Apalai of Brazil, numbering about 450 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Cariban people of Brazil's East Paru River within Tumucumaque Indigenous Park, whose oral tradition recalls long wars against the Wayana and Wayapi and the incorporation of defeated hunter-gatherer survivors, later fusing culturally with the Wayana.
They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Apalaí.
