The Japredia of Venezuela
The Japredia of Venezuela, numbering about 200 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are descendants of Caribs who resisted 16th-century Spanish conquest in Venezuela's Sierra de Perija, nearly annihilated before a small remnant repopulated the tribe, long classified as a Yukpa subgroup though they assert a distinct language and identity.
They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Japrería.
