The Yucuna of Colombia
The Yucuna of Colombia, numbering about 750 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Arawakan-speaking Indigenous people of the Mirití-Paraná and lower Caquetá river basin in the Colombian Amazon who maintain patrilineal clans, exogamous marriage traditions, and a strong cultural connection to the maloca and rainforest homeland.
They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Yucuna.
