The Jungle Inga of Colombia
The Jungle Inga of Colombia, numbering about 13,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Amazonian branch of the Inga people of Putumayo whose communities inhabit the Putumayo and Caquetá river regions and share a Quechua-derived heritage rooted in the broader Inga cultural tradition.
They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Catholicism, and they primarily speak Jungle Inga.
