The Guayabero of Colombia
The Guayabero of Colombia, numbering about 3,200 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Indigenous Western Tucanoan people of the Caquetá and Putumayo river region whose communities were historically centered along the Orteguaza, Mecaya, and Caquetá river systems and whose identity endures despite severe population decline.
They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Guayabero.
