The Achagua of Colombia
The Achagua of Colombia, numbering about 650 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Arawakan Indigenous people of the Colombian Orinoquía who were once among the most prominent peoples of the Orinoco plains and today maintain their identity in the Meta River region despite centuries of displacement and population decline.
They are an indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Achagua.
