The Simaa of Zambia
The Simaa of Zambia, numbering about 57,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are one of some three dozen ethnic groups of Zambia's Barotseland floodplain, historically absorbed into the Lozi kingdom through intermarriage and language shift toward Silozi while Simaa itself survives as a home language.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Central-South people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Simaa.
