The Shila of Zambia
The Shila of Zambia, numbering about 27,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a people of the Mweru-Luapula region formed through the integration of pre-Chitimukulu Bemba migrants and Bwilile communities, later becoming closely associated with the broader Tabwa cultural sphere.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Central-South people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Taabwa.
