The Venda of South Africa
The Venda of South Africa, numbering about 1,255,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a composite Bantu people of northeastern South Africa descended from several groups that migrated through Zimbabwe and united in the Soutpansberg region under a shared Venda identity.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Southeastern people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism, and they primarily speak Venda.
