The Nsenga of Mozambique
The Nsenga of Mozambique, numbering about 82,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Bantu people who migrated into the Zambia-Mozambique borderlands from the Luba-Lunda kingdom of Congo around the 14th century, long influenced by the neighboring Chewa, observing matrilineal descent and known for beadwork and basketry.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Chewa-Sena people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Animism, and they primarily speak Nsenga.
