The Creole-Mauritians of Mauritius, numbering about 276,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a people descended from enslaved Africans brought mainly from Mozambique and Madagascar to work Mauritius's plantation economy from 1715, who developed Morisyen creole in the 1700s, retaining Afro-Malagasy traditions in music, cuisine, and spirituality.

They are an indigenous people in the Other Sub-Saharan African people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Morisyen.
