The Makua of Comoros
The Makua of Comoros, numbering about 14,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a central Bantu ethnic group indigenous to northern Mozambique and the southern border provinces of Tanzania.
They are a diaspora people in the Bantu, Makua-Yao people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Makhuwa-Meetto.
