The Kwangali of Angola

The Kwangali of Angola, numbering about 33,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are one of the five Kavango peoples whose ancestors migrated from East Africa's Great Lakes region to settle near Angola's Kwando River by the 1600s before moving south to the Okavango River, founding the royal seat of Nkurenkuru in 1820.

They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Central-Southwest people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Kwangali.
