The Karamojong of Uganda
The Karamojong of Uganda, numbering about 802,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Nilotic-speaking agro-pastoral people of northeastern Uganda whose identity is rooted in the ngaKarimojong language, cattle herding, clan networks, and cultural traditions adapted to the semi-arid Karamoja region.
They are an indigenous people in the Nilotic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Karamojong.
