The Nguruimi of Tanzania
The Nguruimi of Tanzania, numbering about 100,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a South Mara Bantu people of Tanzania's Serengeti District east of Lake Victoria, sharing ancestral homeland with related Mara-region groups whose local histories of famine, epidemic, and settlement are documented through oral history projects.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Central-Lakes people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Roman Catholicism, and they primarily speak Ngurimi.
