The Ngindo of Tanzania
The Ngindo of Tanzania, numbering about 637,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Bantu people of southeastern Tanzania's Liwale and Kilwa districts, whose homeland in what became the Selous Game Reserve endured 1800s Ngoni raids and later formed the heartland of the Maji Maji rebellion against German colonial rule.
They are an indigenous people in the Bantu, Makua-Yao people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Sunni Islam, and they primarily speak Ngindo.
