The Lugbara of South Sudan
The Lugbara of South Sudan, numbering about 56,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Central Sudanic people with a small population in South Sudan alongside their main home in Uganda's West Nile region, originally called Madi before Arab slave encroachment in the 1800s prompted their current name.
They are an indigenous people in the Sudanic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Aringa.
