The Maasai of Kenya
The Maasai of Kenya, numbering about 1,205,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Eastern Nilotic pastoralist people who trace origins to the lower Nile Valley, migrating south past Lake Turkana from the 1400s and reaching their present Kenya-Tanzania rangelands by around 1750.
They are an indigenous people in the Nilotic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion, and they primarily speak Masai.
